Dollfie Dream Fashion @ Yahoo Japan Auction October 2010 Part 2

As October approaches its end, YJA seamsters and seamstresses continue to produce solid designs. The Western style seems to have dominated the auction this week. We will look at the following outfits ~

* * * * * *

From flower_room777 comes this exotic yukata/maid outfit blend. Mashiro as usual makes a great model. Currently at 11,600 yen ($144 US) as of this post.

flower_room777 provides us with a series of dollfie cast-off pics below:

Skirt castoff-able.

Apron castoff-able.

Okay, theoretically the entire outfit is castoff-able, but we’ll leave it at that.

* * * * * *

I’ve always been a fan of Alice in Wonderland, and this outfit from hatchi_k certainly does justice. Sold at 5,000 yen ($62 US).

Miu makes covergirl this article not only because of her elegant posing, but also for the sexy attire she’s donned in.

From seller account jjia1102, designed by “bule sky”, as the photos are watermarked… but I believe it’s actually “blue sky” from the item description. No doubt an extremely detailed piece.

Love that tutu.

Corset castoff-able.

Sold at 6,500 yen ($81 US). Pretty low price for such a high quality outfit in my opinion.

A cute outfit from esukaiyakurabu_ufo. I believe if they used a more vibrant colour over brown, this outfit would have sold for twice the amount over the winning bid of 11,000 yen ($136 US).

* * * * * *

A lovely DDdy design from kita_naochan that sold for 20,500 yen ($254 US). A fusion of bustier and schoolgirl uniform.

Castoff-able blazer below:

Finally we move to some casual wear.

An overlooked outfit by many on YJA from Pink Junktion selling at 4,500 yen ($56 US). Comes with fluffy hat.

Also in pink.

Designer Legend ramcot_snow here with another great outfit. Some really nice texture. From the photos I can already feel the softness of that top and skirt, and Erika’s hair.

Sold at 25,500 yen ($316 US).

Lastly, we have the most interesting outfit of the week. Sold by kinako_11 and currently at 18,500 yen ($229 US).

I’m not a specialist with ancient wear; does anyone know what kind of outfit this is? Don’t think it’s Chinese, doesn’t look too Japanese, and isn’t entirely like a hanbok.

She looks like a porcelain doll =3

  1. wow I’m surprised the bule(?) sky set did not go higher! wonder if it’s a new-ish seller? ramcot_snow’s work is really nice too ^^ have been admiring it for a while :D

    • ya, i was expecting it to be at least 11,000 yen or so ~
      i’m not too familiar with ‘blue sky’ though, so you may be right about them being new
      then again, i think a big reason is cuz the pics were rather dim, so the thumbnail listed on YJA might have looked blurry and so no one clicked ~
